Friday: Secondary students put on quite a show during this year’s Talent Show. 53 performers gave their best in front of a packed auditorium both Thursday and Friday nights.
Thursday: Students and staff “smile for the Gala” during a special photo session.
Wednesday: Polina Aronova and Abrima Erwiah (class of 1998) talked about careers in the fashion industry during the 2013 Forum des Métiers for Y10 and Y11 students.
Tuesday: Led by Isabelle Milkoff and Catherine Dop-Miller, the translation club meets weekly to translate the play “Einstein Dreams” which will be presented by the Theater Club later this year.
Monday: Over 1000 students, parents and staff convened at the 2013 LFNY Skating Party at Wollman Rink in Central Park. Gliding, hot cocoa, and laughs were enjoyed by all.
Monday: The Lycée was host to the Interscholastic Formal Debate between LFNY, Brearley and Columbia Prep. Students formally debated on the topic of allowing teachers to carry firearms in schools.
Friday: Dentists descended on LFNY to teach Pre-K and Kindergarteners about good dental hygiene. Everyone got a turn to put their proper brushing skills to the test. (Photo by Ashley Kaufman)
