Friday: Ms. Lana Katrangi’s CM1 A Class is all smiles after rehearsing for their End-of-the-Year Show entitled “Couleurs et Humeurs” that will feature pianist and Cycle 3 music teacher, Sébastien Tomasini. Their show is on Friday, June 13, 2014.
Mercredi: Tamara Gombert, une mère d’élève au Lycée, est spécialiste de la thérapie par les plantes à l’hôpital NYU. Ici, elle intervient dans une classe de CE1 et enseigne aux élèves les différents types de bouturage.
Mardi: Deux classes de Cm2 et une classe de 6e ont voté pour Le Prix des Incorruptibles, “le premier prix de literature jeunesse décerné par les jeune lecteurs”. Thursday: Our tenth-grade students turned the second floor patio into a Roaring Twenties inspired runway during the Annual Great Gatsby Party.
Wednesday: “Get your stickers! Get your stickers! Write down what you’re grateful for!” – as a part of Mrs. Pointelet’s Sixth Grade Advisory “Days of Gratitude Project” students work together to design stickers (1800 stickers total!) that express their gratitude to hand out to their fellow LFNY students in the Secondary lobby.
Tuesday: CP students take their places during rehearsals for their end of year show on June 5th. “Chansons et soleil…” they’ll be singing. On en rêve…
Monday: Following a special advanced screening of “D-Day’s Sunken Secrets,” Sylvain Pascaud (‘81) and his son, Zach (‘14), (both left) joined Dr. Arthur Plaza and Doug Hamilton to discussed their work on the documentary, which will air on PBS on Wednesday, May 28 at 9pm.
