Tuesday: A pre-K class is creating monsters out of paper, glue, tape and all kinds of decorative materials for Halloween.
Tuesday: It’s all about bees, beehives and honey! Students in the afterschool club “Video-Science” are working on the 3rd documentary C’est pas magique, c’est Scientifique that will be about “Bees on New York’s roofs”. Today, they just finished building a real beehive.
Monday: French author Maylis de Kerangal came to the LFNY to discuss Romantic Writing with the 11th graders. “Les événements du réel sont tressés organiquement dans la fiction”, says the author of Réparer les Vivants. Watch the conversation here.
Monday: As is the tradition every year, pre-K students picked up their pumpkins on the patio of the school and decorated them in class, right on time for Halloween!
