Friday: Third-grade teacher Gilles Soulié makes the rounds in his class to help students as they work on a mathematics exercise.
Thursday: The sixth-grade soccer boys and girls teams pose together after a practice at Randall’s Island. The teams start playing competitively against other schools later in the season.
Wednesday: Sixth graders in Mme Pointelet’s advisory class learned how to get on the schedule for “dialogue hours,” one-to-one time put aside each week for Secondary students to meet with teachers for extra help and discussion.
Tuesday: Seniors in Option Théâtre had the opportunity to discuss how a work of theater comes to life at an afternoon session with actor Nathalie Bryant, director Alexandre Oppecini, and playwright Leonore Confino, who are in town for their production of In the Ring for the Dream Up Theater Festival.
Monday: LFNY parents visited the Lycée in droves this week for “Meet the Teacher Night” in Primary and “Curriculum Night” in Secondary. Here, new pre-K families meet the bilingual teaching team of Annaig Herzig and Sarah Dufour in pre-K class MSA.
