Thursday: Former Headmaster of Lycée Louis Le Grand in Paris, Joel Vallat came to the school to explain parents and students what are the very French “Classes Prépas”, a type of schools that students can get into after the Baccalauréat.
Wednesday: The director of the Center for Emotional Intelligence at Yale and creator of the R.U.L.E.R. approach Marc Brackett came to the Lycée for a day and a half, to observe the implementation of his method in the classrooms and respond to Primary teachers questions (photo) as well as parents’. Tuesday: Students organize a bake sale benefiting the victims of typhoon Haiyan that happened on November 2nd in the Philippines.
Monday: A group of students from the Sagar School in Rajasthan visited the school.
Monday: Secondary students going to Vietnam as part of a service learning project are meeting with their teachers to plan for the last details of their trip. They will be gone from November 21 to December 2nd.
