Friday: 33 US veterans received the French Legion of Honor for liberating France during World War 2. Y9 students were particularly involved in this moving ceremony by introducing the veterans one by one and singing the French and US national anthems.
Thursday: LFNY students welcome parents for the Parent-Teacher meetings that take place twice a year at the school.
Wednesday: 4th graders are choosing their class delegates during an official vote taking place in the Primary Library. After presenting their “carte d’électeur“, students take an envelope, a piece of paper and write the name of their candidate inside the voting booth. They then put their envelope in the ballot box and their carte get stamped. The class immediately counts votes.
Tuesday: Y11 students are taking the Bac Blanc exam in French. Because it is a practice of the real exam happening later in the year, they have to follow the official guidelines and leave their bags and belongings in the hallway.
Monday: Y6 students register for heures de dialogue with Secondary School receptionist Ilhem Kadiri.
