What a great time we had at Camp Pontiac this year. Our annual trip to Copack, New York took place from August 27th to August 30th.
The camp is open to students from sixth to twelfth grade who play in our fall competitive sports teams. We had record participation this summer, with some 232 students and 24 coaches taking part from LFNY Cross Country, Gymnastics, Middle School Rugby, Soccer and Volleyball teams.
Each day started bright and early. Teams started practice at 7:00am, and the day extended all the way to 11:00pm! When they’re weren’t practicing, our students enjoyed swimming in the camp pool, playing games in the arcade, and sharing their talent at the annual Camp Pontiac Talent Show.
But, Camp Pontiac is just not about getting ready for the upcoming fall season, it is also about building relationships that last for a life time. See below a video of the week’s activities. Catch the team spirit, and #GoLynx!
