Saturday: A boy tosses a horseshoe during the 2013 Spring Fair at the Lycée Français de New York.
Friday: Baccalaureate French-American (BFA) students spent the day at the Princeton University Art Museum where they were treated to private tours of two temporary exhibitions: “Portraying Africans in Renaissance Art” and “1913: Year of Modernism”. It was a glorious day to visit the gardens on campus, too.
Thursday: Jessica B., Olivia R. and Max D. received the Senior Athletics Awards during Sports Night. Jessica was awarded Most Valued Player (MVP) in Varsity Girls Basketball, Olivia is the Most Improved Player (MIP) in Varsity Girls Basketball and Varsity Girls Volleyball, Max is MIP Varsity Boys Soccer, MVP Varsity Boys Basketball and MVP Varsity Boys Volleyball.
Wednesday: Students soak in the afternoon sun at recess with a few hoops and other sports.
Tuesday: A student performs during the THE, an original play produced, written, and directed by LFNY English Theater. The oldest student-run club at the LFNY, English Theater’s productions are selected, directed, costumed, organized, and acted by students.
Monday: Students in the Y10, Y11 and Y12 Theater Elective presented their shows. They interpreted plays from Xavier Durringer, Gogol, Ostrovski, Tcheckov and Yasmina Reza.
Friday: Theo L.S. and Pierre H. received 1st Prize during the LFNY Short Film Festival for their amazing stop-motion animation “Food Doodle”. Clarisse G. took second place, and Elyssa K. and Gabriella V. E. took third. Congratulations!
