Week in Pictures November 16-20

 

VendrediFriday: The World Languages (langues vivantes) Team meets to discuss ongoing projects during their weekly meeting. The team is made up of German, Spanish, Italian and Mandarin teachers working in the primary and secondary schools.

JeudiThursday: Halloween lingers at the Lycée Français…Pastel drawings on the theme are on display in the primary school, including this work of art from a fifth grader.

MercrediWednesday: A kindergarten student makes a run for a bag, so she can give it back to her team. The team with the most bags wins. All preschoolers take classes in movement in a dedicated motricity room in the primary school.

MardiTuesday: First graders took part in a race to raise money for Food Bank of New York City. The parents of the students pledged to give over $6,000 to this organization dedicated to feeding the hungry.

LundiMonday:  LFNY secondary students took over a wall in the secondary school and posted messages of grief and support, following the devastating events in Paris this past week. (Credit: P. Kerbel)
