Friday: It’s pick up time and some students are playing tag right outside the school.
Thursday: Chocolate muffins anyone? Students (girls and boys!) are learning to bake delicious pastries during this afterschool cooking club.
Tuesday: All the First-graders are taking part in a race against hunger, in partnership with the NGO Race Against Hunger. The more laps the children run, the more money will be raised for the organization. Congratulations to all!
Tuesday: Final rehearsal for the Harmony band as it gets ready to head out to the famous Veterans Day Parade on Fifth avenue. Watch last year’s performance by the band here.
Monday: The entire 8th grade level is working on the idea of “tribe” during a week-long project with artist in residence Martine Fougeron. Fougeron is a French fine arts photographer and LFNY alumna.
